Research Projects

Public policies in early childhood.

–           Preschool education

–           Evaluation of educational programs.

–           Family/work balance.

I am currently researching the effects of maternal work and different types of child care on the development of children, using longitudinal surveys and quantitative methods (regressions, matching and fixed effects models).

I have researched several programs and projects in early childhood as A Good Start or RADS: The Study of Culture, Social Settings and Child Development across School Transitions led by Professor Hirokazu Yoshikawa. In addition, I have worked with evaluation tools such as the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) and the Longitudinal Early Childhood Survey (ELPI). I am also skilled in longitudinal studies and mixed evaluation methodologies.
